Chital like to live in open areas and actually never go into the dense jungle. If there is a lot of vegetation, they cannot see danger coming as well. Chital live in the same areas as tigers, panthers and Asian wild dogs. So they have to be very careful not to get eaten.

A Chital can reach speeds of up to 65 kilometers per hour. The animals live in southern Asia in open areas.Chital eat grass, leaves and sometimes fruits. They weigh 60 to 80 pounds, have 1 young and live to be 18 years old on average.
