Nice dancing

The crowned crane is known for its dancing skills. During mating season, the male and female perform a dance together. They jump around each other and make bows to each other. This is called courtship behavior. With this dance, the male and female strengthen their bond.

Mud Bath

The gray crowned crane has very long legs. With these legs it stamps on the ground, causing insects and other critters to rise to the surface. This way the crane can easily catch them.
