Een Lynx die op de grond ligt in Eindhoven Zoo

Lynx ontsnapt uit Eindhoven Zoo

On Tuesday, May 6, a lynx escaped from Eindhoven Zoo. It is a young animal less than a year old. The animal is slightly larger than a hefty male cat. Characteristic are the black fluffs on top of the ears. The animal is still in the area of the zoo.

Lynxes are small predators. They are very shy and harmless to humans. They are found in Europe and have been spotted regularly near the Dutch border in Germany and Belgium.

Nevertheless, we are of course doing everything possible to catch this lynx. Cages have been placed in the zoo. Should people see the animal, we ask them not to take action themselves, but to contact Eindhoven Zoo via 0492-668 240, or the police.
