Long legs

Black storks mainly eat animals that live in the water, such as frogs and fish. Their long legs and long beak help them catch their food. They wade slowly through shallow water until they spot a prey. Sometimes they spread their large wings, casting a shadow over the water. This helps them see what is swimming around more clearly. As soon as they spot something, they quickly dip their long beak into the water to catch their prey.
