Eindhoven Zoo and Stichting Wildlife are looking for volunteers

Eindhoven Zoo and the Wildlife Foundation are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to inspire visitors about animals, nature, and conservation. Those interested can sign up for an information session on Sunday, October 18, at the park.

Volunteers from the Wildlife Foundation play an important role in Eindhoven Zoo’s educational activities. They lead guided tours, supervise children’s parties, and help visitors learn more about nature conservation and preservation.

“Our volunteers make a difference through their enthusiasm and dedication. They bring stories about animals and nature conservation to life and create meaningful connections with our visitors,” says Martijn Menting, volunteer coordinator at Eindhoven Zoo.

Training
New volunteers complete an eight-day training course beforehand. During this course, participants get to know the animals in the park, learn more about education, and delve into the nature conservation projects supported by the Wildlife Foundation.

Anyone 18 years or older who is fluent in Dutch and has an affinity for animals, nature, and education can apply. Experience is not required; enthusiasm and commitment are what matter most.

Those interested are welcome to attend the information session on Sunday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Eindhoven Zoo. You can register for this session until October 4 via info@stichtingwildlife.nl.
