Laughter and fun in the playgrounds

Climbing, scrambling, jumping and swinging: check out the West African chimpanzees in Eindhoven Zoo and see how they do it! Scattered throughout the park you will find two large outdoor playgrounds and numerous smaller play areas along the way. For the little ones there are wooden animals to clamber on and an elephant slide. Bigger kids jump on the air trampoline. And adults? They feel like children again on the slide or the family swing.

Water playground

Have you ever seen an Amur tiger swimming? Unlike most felines, these imposing predators love water!

While the tigers cool off in the river, children can do the same right next to them in the renovated water playground. It's like playing in the same water as the tigers.

  • Discover the water pumps and gutters

  • Splash around in the play pools

  • Climb and scramble on the playground equipment

  • Parts of the grounds and equipment are accessible to children with physical disabilities

  • There is an opportunity to rinse off after playing

Discover the indoor playground

Can you climb as well as the chimpanzees? At the front of the park you will find a large indoor playground: Indoor Monkey Cages. From here, you stand eye to eye with the West African chimps. Climb, swing and scramble around like they do. The indoor playground is a nice place to take a break, have a look at the chimps and play.
